Commissions
An original painting created especially for you makes a very special addition to your home or for a unique present for some-one special.
I welcome the opportunity to work with individuals or companies to develop ideas and to see those ideas evolve into a personal work of art.
Whether it be a gift or something special for your home, I am happy to discuss your needs and where possible work to an agreed budget and time frame, all of which must be agreed before a commissioned painting is commenced to ensure both parties expectations are met.
When commissioning a painting it is important to understand that the final work will be the artists interpretation and may vary a little from your initial expectations.
The price of a commission is consistent with prices of my artwork found in my galleries representing me. This is primarily driven by size, composition, detail and by the amount of time required to complete your artwork.
The process begins with an initial discussion.
The things you will need to consider are: - the dimensions of your artwork, Colours you may like to emphasise and The Subject of the composition
Once the composition has been decided upon a quote and brief will be supplied to ensure both parties are happy with what has been discussed.
If you are happy to proceed a deposit will be required before the commencement of the painting.
On completion of your painting, I welcome a visit to my studio to view your artwork. Alternatively a digital image can be emailed to you.
All paintings are created using the highest quality Atelier / Matisse paint and archival quality canvas stretched on hoop pine frames.
